about

A song for the rain. To explain the line "Did you know it's more likely to rain on a Saturday" : This line refers to the fact that as a result of the Monday to Friday commuting through vehicles in large cities, a cloud of pollution accumulates overhead. This cloud grabs evaporating water and stores it for the weekend in which it washes everything away.

lyrics

-Verse 1-
The clouds are out today,
they're washing everything away.
Did you know that in a city,
it's more likely to rain on a Saturday.
So get yourself inside,
you're saying in your mind.
But you're starting to like,
the feeling that the rain provide.

-Pre-chorus-
The rain's falling down on the roof of my house.
In the silence I hear every drop cryin' out.
Open your ears to the thunder booming loud.
Groovin' to the sound of the rain comin' down.

-Chorus-
Standing at the edge of the ocean,
watching the rain travel back to it's roots.
This storm has set me in motion,
let it move you too.

-Verse 2-
It's been cloudy for days,
people vanish in the haze.
A water drop maze,
out of which, you can't find a way.
So you make a decision,
to run or to stay.
But it ends in collision.
You can't run away so you've got to embrace the rain.

-Pre-chorus 2-
Walking through a river, suspended in the sky.
My clothes are getting heavy as the lids of my eyes.
There's nothing I can do, gotta compromise.
There's worse things in life I've realized.

-Chorus 2-
(repeat first chorus)
Standing at the edge of the ocean,
watching the gray turning slowly to blue.
After all that commotion,
the sun is shining through.
