Falling out of open doors I open doors to see. Calling on all metaphors, metamorphing me. I must eject before it all comes crashing down. We are shipwrecked, we're lost until we're found. -Chorus- So set a course for something, I don't have all day to sit here wondering if I've got the gall to rise and fall away. I'll catch my breath, I hope it stays. Dare I say, I will find my way into the fray. Blu ocean sky, yeah my eyes are caught red handed. Clouds conduct my mind, they're leaving it expanded. Left with just a vision, a future of unknown. I made the last decision, caught the last train out of town.

Bones 03:50
-Verse 1- Yeah we met way back in school, something about a dynasty, and no one could play. Well I'd be chillin' with Parker, Parker Johnstonstein, you know I'm funny that way. Down to the reservoir, you know it's warmer than the sea, well we'd go every day. And when I'm even flyin' by, I know you'll even fly with me, I'd be like even hurray. -Pre-chorus- I'm through with making sense, I'm talking jibberish, but I, I know you'll understand, stand, stand what I say. -Chorus- Bones tell me what is your opinion, I know you've got one on everything. Well why might the sky be blue, and why might the grass be green. Tell me whaddya think about life, and death, and everything in between. You know it's you and me, and we're takin' on the world -Verse 2- (scat solo) That's a little thing that we call scat, I know how funny you'll find that, but it's all just a matter of opinion. So let's sit d-d-d-down and watch my voice go trailin' off down the train tracks, takin' all my sense with it.

Locos Lobos 03:40
So what is at the end of it all, is it falling eternally, or will we be released, back into some sort of life stream. Up against a wall, a barrier inside of me. Hunting for they key, well I'm always finding it hiding. -Chorus- So what does it mean to create, where did it originate. Who was the first to speak with the Earth, and sing out it's melody. The songs of spirits, of a ghost, Locos Lobos. Ooooooo can you hear it, unlike most, the whispering of a soul. Some say that we all come from one, every single entity, a controversial theory, some say that we are entangled. So what could it possibly mean, reality could be a dream, an isolation scheme. We've slowly begun to untangle ourselves.

Life 04:07
-Verse 1- Do you believe in the words that you speak, the air that you breathe is of deceit. Gone so far, I don't know where you are, orbit another star but it's not ours. -Pre-chorus- So why do you even try to change my ways. I'll spread my wings and fly out of my cage. You've got to empathize, see another way. Sit and close your eyes, let go of the rage. -Chorus- Someday you'll look over your shoulder, gazing so expectantly, seeking out an enemy. It won't be me, looking you back in the eye. Every day I get a little older, that's a technicality when living in reality. Can't you see, I've got to move on with my life. -Verse 2- I am hypnotized by the ocean tides, they carry away our minds, satisfied. A note encased in glass, will never be unmasked. Think that you've got class, you throw it back.
5.
-Verse 1- Silent grin you nod your head, vibrant eyes lost in the melody. (I was) Waiting long on every word, you caught me by surprise. Lost for words I approached, never had I understood loss. Speechlessness in parody, you left me lost for words. -Chorus- So where do we go from hear, I'm loosing my direction. Gotta snap out of this trance while I can. I should have known someone like you would be one in a million of spoken for, And my voice won't cut through. I'm still holding on to my chances, I'm still pondering the universe with you. With you... -Verse 2- Layin' in a moonlit boat, floatin' through a foggy silence. I fear the night will melt away, as slowly time approaches. Pouring out my heart and soul, beggin' the impossible. Well I always thought that nothing was, you caught me by suprise. -Chorus (repeat)- -Bridge- We wait for the sun, we wait for the moon, to shine through. We wait for the lies, we wait for the truth, but I'm just waiting for you.

Rain 03:30
-Verse 1- The clouds are out today, they're washing everything away. Did you know that in a city, it's more likely to rain on a Saturday. So get yourself inside, you're saying in your mind. But you're starting to like, the feeling that the rain provide. -Pre-chorus- The rain's falling down on the roof of my house. In the silence I hear every drop cryin' out. Open your ears to the thunder booming loud. Groovin' to the sound of the rain comin' down. -Chorus- Standing at the edge of the ocean, watching the rain travel back to it's roots. This storm has set me in motion, let it move you too. -Verse 2- It's been cloudy for days, people vanish in the haze. A water drop maze, out of which, you can't find a way. So you make a decision, to run or to stay. But it ends in collision. You can't run away so you've got to embrace the rain. -Pre-chorus 2- Walking through a river, suspended in the sky. My clothes are getting heavy as the lids of my eyes. There's nothing I can do, gotta compromise. There's worse things in life I've realized. -Chorus 2- (repeat first chorus) Standing at the edge of the ocean, watching the gray turning slowly to blue. After all that commotion, the sun is shining through.

Journal 04:08
-Verse 1- I Started my journal today, wrote down the words of my own. Some day the corners will fray, and I will reflect on what I used to know. Started my life out today, living it out of my home. I will return there some day, and the past will remain but an echo. -Pre-chorus- I know you know, I know you know, I know you know, the seeds that you sew, are growing away. -Chorus- A revelation came to me that night. My vibration changed, from the out to the inside. An explosion put color in my world. I stood frozen, I just let it all unfold. -Verse 2- I walked through a forest today, found my way all on my own. A tree can never find hate, it's just something that it's never known.

about

This is my first record, focusing on the trials of getting out of the town you grew up in and exploring more of the world. It also features the odd song about quantum entanglement :P (PS: go ahead and chew me out for doing the old walking down the train tracks picture, but I think it's pretty awesome.)
